HONŌGUMA

This is NOT a Fakemon, this is the original and unreleased Gen II fire starter, for more information visit: [link] and [link]

I'm doing clear artwork of all the unreleased and beta Pokemon that I know, trying to stay true to their original designs, like this ones:



I'd like Honoguma to have an American name, but making a true traduction of his japanese name, it would be Flamebear, others refer to it as Flarechu or Pikaflare, due to his close resemblance to Pikachu. But the truth is, while other Pikachu look alikes, Honoguma is not a rodent, it's a bear. :la:

Some speculate this was the early version of Teddiursa, but I really don't think so, because Honoguma was supposed to be the fire starter, so I think this was a completely 'new' design, unrelated to any Pokemon we know.

I came up with Honoguma's shiny form too.

Hey, i really like his design, but i think, someone can say, that he looks like Pikachu so more at this time. But today... i don't know...
I had idea: let's get together, write a petition for a new generation, giving them room, and call it a "revival"XD ...

Honoguma is awesome! but I don't really like fire starters that much besides Torchic and Charmander :) I'd choose Kurusu
