PERITOP

First of all, this is not a Fakemon, this one is an unreleased Pokemon with no name, you can know more about all of them here: [link]

I decided to make clear art of all of them, like these ones



And well, talking about the name of this guy... I thought about some names for it, but I thought Peritop was good because here in Latin America, the 'perinola' is a well known game.. I will just copy this from wiki "Perinola, a six-sided top, very similar to the dreidel, that is used for a similar game in Latin America." so, when I saw clearer artwork for this beta Pokemon, I noticed it had 6 feet instead of 4 as I thought.

Some speculate this is Hitmontop before being added to the Tyrogue and Hitmons family, but I like to think it would have been a good family but they just had to choose between Hitmontop and 'Peritop' because their concept was very similar.

I also did this to promote my new dA Group :iconthelostpokemon: :la:!

Well, all said, I hope you enjoy this :dummy: ohh and I came up with his shiny coloration, so that shiny is based off of nothing official.

To tell you the truth, I can see a bit of snubbull and hitmontop with in peritop. I think of snubull mostly because of the color scheme is the same and the collar seems oddly similar to snubbull, but that's just me

I agree, it has some Snubbull vibe, and I understand the hitmontop reference but I don't see any further physical similarities between those 2, rather that on what they were based on

I think I can kinda understand why they scrapped this one. It's really odd looking and doesn't really resemble Hitmontop or Hitmonchan, if it's supposed to be a pre-evo.

No, I think it was Hitmontop but before it was part of the hitmons family, like Nintendo maybe just thought about doing a 'top' Pokemon but then they decided to make Hitmontop instead
