Hi there!

Today, I want to share with you my deviantART story, to join dA's 14th birthday!!

It all started a very lazy and boring Sunday (September 2nd, 2007), as I was searching for Pokémon and Avenged Sevenfold pics, mostly. That's how I discovered this amazing place, deviantART.

I decided to join because I always loved art, drawing, painting and making small sculptures and artisan crafts. I wanted the world (or at least a small part of it) to see what I used to draw.



This was, of course, back in the day when I used to be in the dumb XYZ888 account, lol, what a name, right?
In fact... I still don't know how or why did I picked that username, but well, if we count that old account of mine, I should be turning 7 years as a dA user on Sep 2nd.

What now? well, eventually, as you may expect, I got tired of using that username, and instead of trying to become a Premium Member, I just made this account, formerly known as cSc-A7X.



I decided to open this new account to showcase my new abilities because I used to practice like crazy to improve, and I was also a lot more inspired than before.



Pieces like this Electabuzz, made me very proud of myself at that point of my life I even entered to a Pokémon contest with this piece of art. -Obviously, I did not won!



I decided to form a dA Group based on the unused/unreleased Pokémon creatures, theme that I still find very interested in, and I shall go back to work on that really soon, the group is called TheLostPokemon: thelostpokemon.deviantart.com/



I also tried to variate my art by ehm trying new stuff, such as SPRITING, which was very entertaining for me, and I made all Unova's overworlds I could, of course, with A LOT of help and collaborations from a lot of amazing artists!!!



I tried my best at drawing Portraits, and while I think I used to do a good or decent job on that, I try not to do a lot of them, they are absolutely complicated and I prefer surrealistic and colorful stuff.

I also changed my username to cSandoval, to feel more professional, hahaha! really.

My dA profile and artistic stuff were put on a big hold when I met my significant other... my wife Dani, and while she loves my drawings, I spent all the time NOT doing drawings with her, I just made this for her:

Last December, she convinced me to do something with my art, and while I was very and absolutely unsure I was that good or worthy (you understand me, right? we as artists most of the time underestimate who we are and what we can do) we created the hamsterSKULL project, originally we thought about naming it something about CATS, but every choice we thought about, was already used or just not that original.



So, we are currently focusing on it and we are slowly expanding the project, we have a handful of great buyers and distributors, but we plan to start selling our work online and in a personal space we want to rent, wish us luck!

My story ends (not because I'm leaving or anything) like this. As of today, I just became a Premium Member again,- for a month! thanks to everybody!!- and my new username is hamsterSKULL, -so the story went like this: XYZ888> cSc-A7X> cSandoval> hamsterSKULL-. I'm going to make the project work and become something worthy for the new and biggest reason of my life: my newborn baby boy Carlitos. which actually turns 1 Month Old today! (yep, he was born on 07-07-14, and he shares birth date with the great Synyster Gates )

Hey...

I hope you guys remember me, I'm very sorry about the lack of ANYTHING on my dA page.

A year ago my wife and I were looking for a better life for us in Cabo, and after all we've been through, now I gladly announce you that in three days, our baby Carlitos will turn a month old.

My life has been absolutely crazy this past months, and I have been very busy focusing on two things: my wife's pregnancy and our art project, hamsterSKULL.
